Recently, we have been heavily announcing the coming of Season 2. And we are VERY excited about it. We were hoping to have to released in April, but, because this season is going to be so much bigger than Season 1, we were not able to. When will it be released? For now, all we can say is “soon” - we have several episodes “in the can,” about 10 episodes fully written, and probably 20 more GREAT ideas. As we said…WE ARE EXCITED. We’ve been able to recruit a fantastic team of actors, an awesome crew, and a promising team of writers. Putting all this together, Season 2 will be sure to BLOW YOUR MIND and have you falling off your chair, stool, toilet, or bed, you’ll be laughing so hard. We thank everyone who has downloaded the app, been following us, and is anxiously awaiting the next season.
The other side of the app - the actual app software - is 98% where we want it to be. We got approved on iOS, and we’ve been on Android for months. The next step is to get the Android version up to par with the iOS version, plus a few small updates to each. At that point, we’ll be ready to release Season 2 and begin a HUGE marketing campaign we’ve been “brewing” for months.
Those of you without an iOS or Android device, we WILL be releasing the show on YouTube. This will happen before Season 2 is launched, so watch for that! And we are currently working on updating our presence on the web.
Thanks for being patient with us, we cannot wait to show you what we have in store.

February has felt like it’s lasted longer than January did, but now, we’re coming to the end, welcoming March in a week. March will be a great month for us, and hopefully propel us forward. We spent a lot of February taking care of issues with our app, The Morning Brew, on both the content and software sides. We found that some of our content (episodes) were better than others, and that we had a few bugs in our app (duplicate episodes showing up for some; videos not playing at all for others). It’s all a learning curve and part of the reason we had an extended “soft release,” and will hopefully allow for a very successful full release in March.
On March 1st, we welcome our first intern, which will be a big help around the Scatter Brothers office. As we grow, she will grow with us, and vice versa. We are also putting together a team of writers for The Morning Brew, which will hopefully bring some fresh ideas and creativity to the show. We will begin pre-production on a music video for a very talented artist in March as well.
Here’s to pushing forward…

We have a new website. We tried to keep it simple, with links to The Morning Brew, projects, this blog, who we are and how to contact us. Also, on the front page we will feature a different video that we’ve produced every few weeks. Currently we’re playing a promo video for Papered Hearts Photography, directed by Miller Hudson and shot by Doug Tschirhart. Check it out, let us know what you think!

We continue to be excited about the possibilities of 2012. We’d like to take a few minutes to let everyone know what we’re up to this year.
If you are wondering what we do, or what we’ve done, please check out the Scatter Brothers YouTube Channel to see our previous projects.
Some projects we’re working on:
- The Morning Brew - a hilarious “app show” currently available on Android devices. It consists of a weekly 1-3 minute short comedy episode released Monday of each week. Currently in it’s soft release, we are planning for a huge launch and expansion of the show in February. If you have an Android phone, you can download the show today and watch our first ten hilarious episodes. Please check out http://www.morningbrewapp.com or facebook.com/MorningBrewApp for the latest. Wake up and laugh.
- A music video for an up-and-coming artist. We’re still working out the details on this project, but we’re very excited about it. Our goal is to begin production in April.
- HonkyTonkTV:Your Country - although this is not a Scatter Brothers production, we will continue to support and help grow this country music news television show, where fellow Scatter Brother, Ben Daniele is a host. The show recently went live around the country on the HDNet channel, and is available on Bright House on Demand in Florida and other regions. Check out http://www.honkytonktv.com.
- Revitalizing St. Petersburg, Florida - we are located in the wonderful St. Petersburg, FL, and are looking into a project to revitalize and bring people into the city. From highlighting local restaurants and bars, to showcasing the beautiful beaches and great museums, we’re hoping to show people that St. Pete is not what Men’s Health Magazine called a “frown town” or the saddest city in America. More info on this project to come.
Internally we are working on a new website, growing our company, and having a lot of fun. We would like to thank all of you who have been a part of anything we’ve done in the past, and we hope to work and play with all of you again in the future.
If you’re an actor and would like to be a part of The Morning Brew this year, please send your contact info to morningbrewapp@gmail.com.
If you’re interested in working with us, have a project you’d like to get off the ground, need a commercial or ad campaign, etc. we have several ways to get a hold of us:

2012 is shaping up to be a great year for Scatter Brothers Productions. Back in November of ‘11, we launched a “soft release” of our new comedy “app show,” The Morning Brew. We are gearing up for the full release, on both Android (available now) and iOS platforms. We will release our 9th episode next week, with one being released every Monday from now until…forever? With the full release, we will launch a large, nationwide marketing campaign.
Also in 2012, we have several projects including a music video, commercials, and a TV show in the works. We will be using this blog to keep everyone posted on the latest-and-greatest here at Scatter Brothers Productions.
